I took four years June Jordan's Poetry For The People at UC Berkeley, and well, I want to share the knowledge. In this space, I want to transcribe four years of notes and anecdotes. I had the privilege of witnessing June's beauty and hearing her strong voice, and of yes, her distinguishable giggle. (I have to say here, like I say all the time, I was not close to her, as some of my friends were. What I know of her is from listening to her in our small class, people's stories, her books, and small talks I had with her.)
